On September 18, 2023, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) voted to approve a list of paving projects for Fiscal Year 2024.
Rogers Group was selected to carry out the paving projects across the city. With a 10% contingency included, the total cost was estimated at $2,708,629.28, which is being paid for with $708,629.28 from the State Street Aid Fund and $2 million from the General Fund.
The following neighborhoods will be included in this round of repaving:
- Picketts Ridge
- Haynes Crossings
- Wyngate
- Cameron Farms
- Cochran Trace
- Hurt Road
- Burtonwood
- Candlewood
- Belshire
- Baker Springs

These areas were identified as a result of an annual assessment by Spring Hill Public Works, examining all roads in the city:

The streets chosen for repaving fall under the very poor and/or poor category.
Any remaining funds from these projects will be used for miscellaneous paving projects that need to be repaired throughout FY 2024.
